Our experienced and compassionate team of midwives is here to support you every step of the way. With close to 6,000 babies born here, we’re honored to be part of so many families’ journeys.

The Difference at a Birth Center
Our freestanding birth center offers a homelike, nonmedical setting focused on comfort and natural care. We offer a private birthing suite with ample room for family and friends to attend this joyous occasion. With a dedicated midwife, we create a calm, soothing environment where labor can progress naturally.
Here’s what you can expect:
Homelike Comfort: The birth center suites are designed to feel warm and inviting, more like a home than a hospital. We provide a relaxed atmosphere that supports a natural birthing experience.
Midwife-Led Care: Our Certified Nurse Midwives, highly trained medical professionals specializing in pregnancy and childbirth, will guide your care from prenatal visits to delivery and postpartum. We also work with ObGyns and other healthcare providers when necessary and maintain a close relationship with Danbury Hospital.
Focus on Natural Birth: We’re experts in physiological birth and offer the time, support and freedom to labor and give birth in different positions. Your comfort and safety are our top priority.
Water Birth: Each of our birthing suites comes equipped with a full-size jacuzzi tub.
Hospital Partnerships: While we operate independently, we work closely with Danbury Hospital, conveniently located near the hospital’s facilities.
We don’t separate you from your support center. Our facility welcomes partners, children, families, and friends to attend this experience and offer immediate contact with your baby.
Birth Center Accreditation
We are fully accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers, an independent accrediting body focused on birth center quality and safety.
We are licensed through the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) which ensures operational compliance with state guidelines, standards, and regulations. The DPH works to protect the health and safety of the public and being awarded licensure confirms our birth center’s commitment to the same.
