Well Woman and Gynecology Care

We believe in gentle, comprehensive and preventative gynecology care for women throughout their lives. Excellent health care is best fostered in an atmosphere of relationship and trust, and where women are empowered to work collaboratively with their caregivers. We take the time to listen to your needs and identify your areas of strength and provide many well woman services in addition to being experts in maternity care. In fact many women who birth with us stay with us for their lifelong gynecology and well woman needs.

Specialized midwifery care provided by our office includes:

Routine gynecology care/annual exams/pap smear/breast exam
Perimenopausal and menopausal advice and care
First time exams for teens and young women/safe sex
Sexuality and libido
Preconceptual and family planning services
Screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
Breastfeeding and lactational services
Birth control counseling and initiation
Colposcopy services for abnormal pap smears
Urinary and vaginal infection and treatments

Collaborative Care as Midwives

You may count on us to order appropriate testing including mammograms, ultrasounds and laboratory screenings. We are able to write prescriptions for any necessary medications including antibiotics and contraceptives. We provide collaborative care when needed by utilizing physicians and other health care providers in our community.
